One the way home from Mill Valley yesterday, we went down to Crissy Field for few minutes to look at the clouds over the bay.

The clouds over Alcatraz were especially dramatic.

Today is all sunny and clear though - which is nice too. I have such a huge mess to deal with here, but all I really want to do is go for a long walk in the sun.

So maybe I will do that FIRST and then start working on the mess. When I get bogged down in my mess here, then I end up not going out at all sometimes, and that is not good.

I'm hearing Speculations on the turning of Alcatraz into the place where the Gitmo Detainees will be housed. It's hard to imagine that old Wreck out there being brought back into the prison system; even harder to imagine those Purported Terrorists being dumped into California. How about a prison complex in Crawford, Texas - on the Ranch Which Spawned The Situation, and which I have heard W intends to sell. All of the brush has been cleared already, and the Place is Cursed (everybody knows that)... it's perfect for a prison.

I don't think they will ever use Alcatraz as anything but a tourist attraction - it's a money maker. But it really should be given back to the Native Americans.

I've also thought the Gitmo detainees should be sent to Texas, as close to W as possible. So if he's leaving crappy old Crawford, then they should put them in Demented Dallas.
