Pic from last year - this year's Fleet Week hijinks, as in yesterday and today, it's been too cloudy for them to put on most of their show over the bay, so it's been pretty quiet.

Yesterday we did errands like laundry and shopping and then just hung out at home watching a couple of movies.

Today we are hanging out at home again, and the Direct TV guy is here installing the new dish and DVR and all that jazz. Cheaper than Comcast and you get DVR service in the bargain, yay!

Anyway that is it for today - I hope the guy finishes soon and the whole thing works as planned, with lots of beautiful things to watch in glorious HD.

I love me some HD, I really do. Being so visually inclined and all. :)

Oh! I hope you love DirecTV HD/DVR as much as we do. We've never had anything but DirecTV, because we've always lived where that is the only option!
