An abstract for you today, taken yesterday I think, on one of our walks in El Presidio de San Francisco (aka our back yard).

Overcast again today but not cold. We both slept in. I think today all we have on our busy busy agenda is to do the laundry.

I was just saying to someone who keeps about ten calendars and planners and to-do lists, that I prefer not to be that busy.

It seems like a lot of people enjoy appearing to be very busy, with long to-do lists every day, rushing here and there doing very important things, driving all over the place all the time, burning more fossil fuel than I can even imagine ... but I am just happy not to be doing that.

Anyway, I ramble... I should get dressed and start getting the laundry together. Oh, let me write that down on my planner first! ;-)

Bwahaha, you sound like me! I've never got any stinking plans. Could that be why nothing gets done? Maybe I could start with a one-item list: do laundry.

i like to make "to-do" lists AFTER the fact - so i can put a check mark next to the stupid item as soon as i write it down, LOL - i guess they are really 'got done' lists.

but mostly i just doodle all over my weekly moleskine calendar that sits here by my keyboard - i doodle flowers and happy faces all over it, and peace signs and dollar signs and hearts, hehe - because peace, love, health and wealth are what i want to think about most of the time, not some list of chores and errands!

Sounds like all the people I know! Everyone asks me what I do or what I've been up to and it makes me feel really embarrassed that I'm not very busy, ever.
