i am not an anarchist

... but when we were out walking today, we happened upon an anarchists' book fair in progress, so we went in to see what kind of books anarchists read. Turns out we already have about half the books they were selling - lots of Noam Chomsky.

They were selling DVD's of "Manufacturing Consent" too and I wanted to buy one, but didn't have $30 cash on me. The anarchist young folk selling stuff said they took VISA. When they said that, both my husband and I looked at each other and started laughing, because it just seemed hilarious that anarchists took credit cards. I decided not to buy it from them, and told them I could get it cheaper on Amazon.

I did buy one thing - a poster of Che Guevara with the quote "Let me say, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love."
