bad drivers

The accident in Santa Monica was horrible, but percentage-wise, younger drivers are probably a much worse hazard to *everyone* .

Half the drivers I see here, I wonder, how in the world did these people ever get licenses to drive? And they aren't over 65, much less 85, most of them.

So I don't know... if they are going to start road-testing people every year over a certain age, I think that age should be 16.

I do the world a favor by not driving. I only wish more people would do the same, whatever their age.

outlook crashing

My Outlook program has been crashing daily of late... I think I've got it fixed, but who knows really. So I may not be getting all the emails people have been sending the past few days. I will try to go back and see what's what, but am pressed for time the next few days.

So if I appear to be ignoring you, it's not intentional.

I have to clean like a madwoman today, after I get back from a trek to the PO. I absolutely hate going to the PO, but the upside is that going there means people have been buying stuff from me, and that makes it not quite so horrible. I just visualize dollar signs as I stand in line with my parcels.

And at least it's foggy today! Yesterday was hot, and a lot more humid than normal, with tropical air swirling this way, from the storm that hit Texas.

I pray the weekend will be cooler as I run around town with my friend from Sacto and my DD and DH and the visitors from Sweden and the old German friend as well, and heaven knows who else will be there.

but i don't even like those matrix movies!
