this is not today, but today looks like this (sunny and warm, by which i mean low 60's).

and we didn't go to the beach today, but maybe i will go to crissy field tomorrow, which should be equally as nice.

today we went to find a birthday present for rachel, which we did, and then we had lunch on upper fillmore (fillo combination plate, yum).

then we walked back towards our own 'hood, part of the way anyway, but it was all uphill and i got tired after about a mile of that, so we took a bus the rest of the way back to angelina's cafe, where we sat outside and drank coffee and ate pumpkin bread (more yum).

now i am just trying to catch up with my FL and respond to emails and such. someone emailed me about maybe buying a small painting, so that's nice (even if she doesn't end up buying it, it's nice to know she wants to!).

last night we watched "wild parrots of telegraph hill" and loved it of course - we have been seeing those birds for 15 or 20 years, and it was interesting to see the whole story.

and it has a happy ending, even though... well, rent it and see!

we also watched "hustle and flow" and that was very good too.
