it's 88 degrees in SMA today.

it's almost always in the 80's, all year round. when it's only in the 70's, the people there act like they are freezing.

usually i hate hot weather, but i did ok there because it's so dry.

i do not do tropical well at all, but i can do desert, especially if it's up in the mountains, like six or seven thousand feet up.

i didn't take this picture of the jordaan area of amsterdam, but this is where i stayed when i was there and i didn't have a camera with me, so i wanted to save this picture... and i want to go back, for a longer time than two weeks nex time.

i was just looking at apartments in this area, and they look about the same price as san francisco. expensive to most people maybe, but when we were there we thought everything cost about the same as here, and that's probably still the case.

i spent some time uploading more SMA pics to flickr, to add to the set from 12/04. mostly just daily life type snapshots that i want to archive along with the rest. i have about a thousand pics from SMA but have uploaded less than 200 i think.
