too old for this

just sitting here
waiting for the grocery guy to come.

had three coughing fits since last night.
joe has been spewing his germs on me for SIX weeks
and i thought i had escaped the worst of it
but maybe not.

my body is rebelling in other ways too
and i am too old for this!

anyway, weather forecast is 72 degrees in SF.
must get outside for at least a little while
even if we have to CRAWL.

naptime

i made a new peace icon -
my creative effort for today.

i do have more visual journal pages done
but no energy for scanning.

and more art that needs to be scanned or photographed
and listed on ebay and/or etsy.

and all kinds of other work piling up
like doing our taxes.

and some indexing work on the way this week.

all we did was walk to walgreens
buy more cold meds and stuff
come back and heat up chicken soup.

it's so hot out there
all i have on is a thin linen shirt
and i was getting so hot walking.

god this is boring.
must be time for a nap.
