We went to the Legion and saw the Women Impressionists exhibit and it was not too crowded, so that was very nice.

ALSO, we could see the ocean from up there, and it appeared that there is a FOG BANK about 30 miles offshore, yay!

We pray it comes in on little cat feet tonight.  There is a breeze coming from the west, so that is a very good sign.

I'm glad we skipped the Chihuly insanity today.  We will go on Friday night instead.  That will be much better, methinks.

There are a few big Chihuly pieces at the Legion right now too, but we already saw those several times in the last couple of months.

Pictures later... I am too tired to upload right now.

golden gate, originally uploaded by judywatt.

i uploaded a bunch but don't feel like editing much, so here is a quickie of the view from lincoln park today. not bad.

the kind of puffy clouds were were having were causing dry lightning strikes in some parts of the bay area, which started more fires.

not near the city but in places like the santa cruz mountains, which do not need any more fires right now (and where joe's parents live).  also up in napa, where some of joe's other relatives live, but it doesn't sound like the fire is near them.
