Last night we went to Safeway for groceries, and I thought it would be about $160 or so... the tab was $232! Yikes. I tend to buy more organic stuff than I used to, but still, I am usually better at having some idea what the bill will be.
Sacto friend is coming to spend the night, so I have to clean the bathroom (more) and the rest of the apartment as much as possible (it's old and funky so no matter how much I clean, parts of it never really LOOK clean even though they are).
I am trying to get Joe to wash the windows from the outside and the car. Wish me luck. ;-)
Then tomorrow we do the Joe's Birthday thing.
