muni sucks
May. 1st, 2009 09:39 amHappy I do not have to ride SF Muni more than once a month anymore, if that.
And thrilled that I won't be riding it here when I am old.
39 years has been more than enough and it just gets worse all the time - and of course the fare is going up by 33% and the services are being cut again.
I feel especially sorry for the old people and disabled people and poor and/or worker bee people who HAVE to use it, but am just happy I do not.
People who voted for Gavin Newsom though are getting what they deserve.
I realize people in other parts of CA and the US most people think he's "progressive"... but um, no, not even close.
He's always been pro-big-business and pro-landlord and anti- anyone who is not rich.
He was Willie Brown's handpicked boy, remember, and Willie Brown was the one who said "Poor people should not live in San Francisco."
Gavin is cut from that same cloth. I never voted for either one of them - I always voted for someone more progressive (or no one at all).
Anyway, gotta get on with the day, so rant over for now. :)
