No new pics today, so here is one from our recent trip to Oregon. When you are almost to Oregon, you pass through The State Of Jefferson. It's really just part of Northern CA (and Southern OR) of course but they fancy themselves as more "independent" I suppose.

CA is so huge and so diverse in local cultures and terrains and climates... it's still amazing to me and I have lived in CA almost all my life. I think most people in the US have some tiny idea of what "California" is that has nothing much to do with reality... but anyway, most of it is very rural or agricultural or wilderness.

Back here in The People's Republic of San Francisco (hilarious page), I am still feeling very fluish, did not sleep much last night, but am trying to pull myself together and do more de-cluttering.

The problem is, there is so much junk to sort through, now it's like a cyclone blew through the apartment... but this too shall pass. There is much more to go to the donation truck or into the trash or recycling bin this weekend.

And that is a Very Good Thing. :)
