Feeling much better today but Joe is home sick with a cold (not the flu I hope). He wasn't feeling very well when he got home last night, and then we went over to R's and helped her move two very big and heavy pieces of furniture down her very steep stairs, to put them on the curb where the garbage people can collect them today.

One of the items would not fit out the front door, but her neighbor helped us saw more of it off, and then we got it out. So thankful her neighbor came out and helped! One skinny girl and two almost 60 year olds were no match for that giant piece of hideous sofa that never should have been moved INTO that flat in the first place (long story there, involving taking a second floor window out to hoist the damn thing in there years ago).

Anyway, very very grateful we did not injure ourselves in the process last night of getting it OUT of there. I wasn't much help at all, so really grateful Rachel, who has a bad back, and Joe, who is almost 60, did not get hurt - it was pretty scary getting those things down those stairs!

Anyway today I feel so much better than yesterday! I plan to do more de-cluttering, take a few more things to the art studio, go to Walgreens for a few things, make soup for Joe... what else, I don't know.

PS to whomever posted THREE anonymous comments to another post (the one about Julie & Julia) that were just strings of question marks - I don't un-screen anonymous comments, especially if they appear to be from cranks or fools.

And I am wondering how stupid does someone have to be to post the same thing THREE times before they realize it's being screened and isn't going to show up for all to see?

I am grateful that LJ lets us screen anonymous comments, but really, some people out there need to get a bloody clue.

Have not been to the Asian Art Museum in a while... really should go again soon and take more pics with my current camera.

Watched Angels and Demons on DVD tonight. It was OK - better than DaVinci Code anyway. I don't read the books, I only watch the films. Same with Harry Potter - I think I read the first two books but wasn't crazy about them. I do enjoy the films though.

Anyway, spent the day doing housework and errands mostly - and cooking soup for Joe and dinner later.

Nothing exciting to report.
