fragment one

A small abstract collage from 2005. This one is framed and looks great in the frame - it's on the wall next to my desk. I should take a picture of it in the frame... but you know how I hate to photograph art indoors.

It's fun re-discovering some of my old art and it inspires me to make more... plus I have new readers here and on FB who have never seen the older stuff and don't have much of an idea of what I'm into as far as art and photography are concerned - especially people who know me in RL (or used to a long time ago, or think they do now).  So it's good for that too. :)

Anyway, back to the present again -  more rain today but I think we will get a short break tomorrow and then more rain after that. It is winter after all and we need the rain here and lots of snow in the mountains so we will have water to use later in the year.

I love that it does NOT rain here at all from about May through October. There is nothing I hate more than places where it rains in the summer and is hot and humid.

So much for the weather.

I did a lot of book-moving yesterday and it wore me out, so I didn't go paint at R's. Today though I will do that FIRST and then come back and work on the book situation.

And now, tea and some kind of fiber cereal would be good.
