Adam was very entertaining again last night.

But...the whole "is he gay?" controversy is so DUH to me.  Like, who the hell cares?

I was just saying to someone else, I've been calling him 'the gay one' since the beginning, but not in a negative way - not in any way at all, just as an identifier so my husband and daughter would know which contestant I was referring to.

He has not been very coy about it - but I think it's a good sign, him just flaming away up there on AI.   It's about time America elected an openly gay idol.

I agree. He is on fire with talent. Wouldn't it be great if who he cares to hook up with didn't matter? If he was judged on his incredible raw talent instead? I think it just might happen, which is just one more step toward the time when people are not judged on race, color, sexual proclivity or .... age. (And what about that Scottish woman??)

The Scottish woman is incredible! I wish people were not so hung up on superficial stuff... age, race, gender, sexual orientation (if any) how someone looks, whether they are "cool enough"... all that nonsense.

If someone can sing, they can sing, period, or whatever their talent is. I am as shallow as the next person in all kinds of ways, but I mean really, when someone is SINGING, all I really care about is whether I like their voice and find them interesting or original in some way.

i only like him when he sings slow songs. otherwise, to me, he sounds like he's shrieking. john says he'd be good if they had a hair band week.

john has seen pictures indicating he definitely is gay. but that doesn't matter to me.

i don't usually like shriekers, but when he does that, he has so much control over his voice, i just find it amazing. and then he's a bit too much on the "musical theater" side of things for me - but since he's more rocky horror than oklahoma, i can dig it. :)
