This was not today but today looked like this - so clear and fresh.
This pic was taken last year on Christmas Eve, at the spot on Crissy Field, East Beach, where the tide flows in and out of the beautiful marsh area that the birds love. Kids and dogs love to play there in the shallow stream that flows in and out of the bay. They don't care how cold the water is - cold water never seems to bother kids or dogs!
Looks like this year Christmas will be just as nice... I hope so anyway! Maybe some rain on the weekend, but that's fine too. We can work more on our de-cluttering and purging stuff from the apartment when the weekend rolls around.
Today I got out in the freshness for a little walk, and went to R's to work on the painting a bit more. And that was it for me pretty much, though the day seemed to just fly by.
Days fly by when I am doing what I like to do - as opposed to how they used to drag endlessly when I worked in law offices doing database stuff, and even in the publishing business (when I was writing and editing the indexes to law books).
I actually liked the indexing part of it, but it seemed like that was only about 10% of the job - most of it was more like manipulating files on the computer all day and going to endless meetings that were usually just a huge waste of time and energy.
But anyway I digress - I am just glad I don't do that anymore. :)
In other news, my new camera arrived today! I am charging the battery right now and will test it out tomorrow.
