Went over to paint a little and tested out the new camera there as well, taking some pics of the cats and the stuff I was working on and such.

So far, so good... when Joe comes home, we shall go for walkies by the bay and I will take more test pics.

I have almost no idea how to use most of the manual settings - the test pics were taken using auto mode.

I am a "naive photographer" if ever there was one - mostly I point and shoot, and then I do very little post-processing. Sometimes cropping but that's about it. Nothing to make things look older or newer or different than they looked to me when I took the picture.

I could change at any time though and decide to become some other kind of photographer... but I kinda doubt it. :)

thanks - i've had that cheap old brush for ages and ages, but nothing works for dry-brushing better than that one!
