Happy Blue Moon to all my LJ peeps and my FB peeps as well! And Happy New Year too of course!

I have a cold and we are not planning to go out... no news there, but it's fine with me (not the cold, but the staying home part).

Hope everyone else has a great evening, whatever they decide to do - stay in, go out, both, whatever.

And may your hangovers be mild, if you have one at all tomorrow. :)

One of my Irish friends told me to put money on the windowsill for good luck. I am not Irish, but maybe I will do that anyway.

I have no idea what Dutch customs for good luck in the new year are... maybe they don't believe in luck, being the more pragmatic sort? No idea... I will have to Google that.

And so I did.   But did not find much about New Year specifically. 

Something about bonfires and donuts.  Sounds good to me. :)
