ephemeral heaven
Jun. 18th, 2003 01:10 pmThere's this little second-hand shop down the street from me called Muzzy's Attic, which I used to try to avoid going into because it was much too tempting, and the prices of "junk" in SF are about 10 times higher than they are in other places... but since I've been selling all kinds of ephemera the past few months, I can now justify buying things there to rip up and sell in bits and pieces.
Today, I bought 8 copies of BIG old McCall's magazines from the 60's, full of cool pictures and old ads. Looking at them gives me flashbacks of childhood and teenhood, but nice ones - making me remember how I loved to cut up magazines back then too. :)
