oh well

it's another spare the air day in the greater bay area
so the buses are free again for the fifth or sixth time this summer.

the air is not bad in SF though
and every time i ride muni on a free day
it's really awful.

it's not full of commuters who left their cars at home -
it's just more full of people who want a free ride that day
and a lot of them are not people you really want to
be on a crowded bus with on a hot day.

so anyway....
not sure what i'll do.

i may take a very short bus ride
just to laurel village to do some errands.

but i will not go anywhere near downtown
or to the beach either.

oh well.

i thought i heard fog horns during the night
but there is no fog this morning. :(

our windows have not been washed in two years
and i have not been very successful
at nagging joe to wash them lately
and i can't stand looking through the dirt anymore
so maybe i should draw pictures in the dirt?

need a drink

i took the bus to the presidio and walked a couple miles...
all was fine until i wanted to come home
and then i had to wait for a fecking muni bus
for 45 minutes at crissy field
just to take a ten minute ride back to california street.

it would not have been possible
for me to walk home from there.

so now i feel really wiped out
just from the part where i had to stand there
in the sun and wind for 45 minutes.

this is what i get for riding muni on a free day.
i knew better, and i did it anyway.
i am bitch slapping myself right now.
