the word of the day
is so apropo

anyway, i think i will work on the taxes some more today.
might as well get them done asap.
it doesn't look like we will get much of a refund though -
but if we owe money then it's good to know how much in advance
and then not send the check until right before the due date.

then once i have the taxes DONE
i can start re-doing this office area
to make it be both office and art studio.

getting the art stuff OUT of my bedroom
will make it so much more restful in there
and i think i will actually make more art
if all that is in here where i work on the computer as well.

so my work is cut out for me
as usual :)

Top Ten Oddball Tax Deductions

Just because my theme is taxes right now.
And just be glad it's not Death, the other thing we can't avoid.

#3 looks good to me.

gotta have it syndrome...

I don't think this type of spending pattern
is only common among students
who are living on borrowed money.

it's also common among growups.
it's the american way.

i read the other day
that savings in the US
is now negative one percent overall
which i guess it never has been before.

i was watching O yesterday and i can see why -
it was about decluttering
and it made me see that my clutter is very  minor
compared to most middle class familes.

the amount of crap they had stored
like tons of clothes with the tags still on
was pretty appalling.

and then they talked about how they went shopping
for MORE clothes every week.

very bizarre.  and not just clothes, but all kinds of stuff
overflowing every single room.

most of it not paid for of course.

just talking to myself
getting ready to watch 'the office'
which is so funny :)
