rumination

Good interview with Jen Worden
about her art and her process.

I feel sort of the same when I am not making much
tangible art... except that I try to skip the guilt and angst part.

Which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't
but mostly I skip that.

Like now.  Ruminating I am
doing lots of ruminating on art.

I still have not moved all my art stuff
out of my bedroom and into the office here
aka the dining room which is not a dining room.

It can be closed off from the LR and kitchen though
so that's good.

If the mess is too hideous, doors can be closed
so we don't have to see it from the LR or kitchen.

Rachel just called and said she was offered a job
at a huge old church in Pacific Heights
and she wants to talk to me about it
before she gives the head pastor dude an answer.

So I am waiting for her to come over
and we can go to lunch
and ruminate about the job at the big church
in the fancy 'hood.

yay

the dalai lama is coming to sf later this month
and i managed to get tickets to one of his appearances... yay!

i love that he is a scientist as well as a spiritual leader.
mind over matter and all that.
