television
Jun. 13th, 2008 09:10 amI have to laugh when people go on about how much they hate "television" but they read dopey paperback novels all the time, or watch DVD's almost every night.
Um, what's the difference?
People who don't watch TV at all don't have much info about what's actually ON television, right?
Lots of crap, but some good stuff too.
Just like any other form of entertainment or information.
Plenty to choose from - lots of things that are the equivalent of dopey novels, but lots of things that are way better than that!
End of PSA for today about TV. :)
Our new TV is supposed to be delivered today between one and five - yay!
I can't wait to watch some movies on the wide screen - it's not huge, just 32" of high def LCD goodness. I think it will be just the right size in our very small living room.
I want to watch FRIDA on it tonight if we can get it all set up with the DVD player that quickly. I've seen it a couple times but it's been ages now, and it would be nice to watch it again before we go to the show at SFMOMA this Sunday.
