And as I have been saying all my adult life, you are much safer in earthquake and wildfire country than in other areas where extreme temperatures happen every single summer and every single winter (not to mention tornadoes and floods).
Anyway, it's 4 something a.m. and I can't sleep. I slept from about 11:30 to 2:30, then woke up and could not get back to sleep. So I finally gave up, got out of bed, and made some toast and started reading news stories on the interweb. Hence the Death Map.
Now I will go back to bed and try again to take a trip to dreamland.
