just the week in review as usual.

today i made my goal of being debt-free (again) though
so i am very pleased about that!

we had planned to go to the deyoung museum today
but ended up staying in and watching three hours
of 'planet earth' instead, that we missed last sunday.

then we went for a little walk
but it was very cold and windy
so we just bought burritos
and came back home where we ate them
and read the sunday ny times.

yes, it does - we've been there before once, then racked some up the past few years due to various things, but now it's all paid off, woohoo!

I love the Planet Earth series. I think penquins are such incredible creatures. The polar bear segment where it tries to eat a walrus was particularly brutal as nature can be, but I was sad when it curled up in the ice to die.

Isn't the photography wonderful? I've enjoyed all of the episodes so far. I'm even considering buying the series later this month. I want to share it with so many different people....
