Someone reminded me of this picture today (it's from 2007, the wall of the Sweetwater inn office in Mendocino). No other reason for posting it. :)

Joe was so tired last night, he slept for about 12 hours - this is good. I slept OK but kept having weird dreams and waking up and going back to sleep. But at least I was able to GOback to sleep each time!

Rain this morning, but I hope we get some sun in the afternoon and maybe can go for a walk on the beach or something. It's very warm for it being so humid though - like 70 degrees with 100% humidity and I don't like that.

But anyway, Joe has today and tomorrow off as furlough days and then Saturday we leave for Ashland. Not sure how long we will be gone exactly - but now I have the little netbook to take with us, so that'll be nice to have when I get the urge to log on once in a while.

When we were leaving UCSF last night it was still 70 degrees and there was no wind. Very unusual for Parnassus avenue don't you think? Definitely WAS muggy too. (Do they use that word here? Maybe that's a midwest word....)

Nah - we say muggy out here too but it just almost never is! :)

And it was still quite muggy last night with now wind either, not even on the beach - and today it seems that way too... which I don't care for, but at least it's sunny now and not raining.

It's supposed to rain pretty much all weekend up in Ashland, where we are headed tomorrow, but hopefully just normal rain, not typhoon type rain!
