back in my youth
but now i live in a different part of town.

of course this shop wasn't there in my youth either.
it was more of a really crummy 'hood when i lived there.

it's still crummy, but more artsy-crummy
than just plain crummy crummy. :)

walmart sucks (so what else is new)

i knew walmart was bad news
(and that includes sam's club)
but i finally watched this film anyway -

it should be required viewing
for all voters -
especially republicans
or anyone who thinks there's
really such a thing
as free enterprise
left in this country.

corporate welfare is not free enterprise -
it's socialism for corporations.

the poor and middle class paying taxes
just to make the rich richer
while they get all the subsidies
and they can lie and cheat and steal
and break all the laws they like
and the rest of us have to pay for it endlessly.

but anyway,
enough depressing movies today.

we went to the de young museum
and the tea garden
and i took many pics
but have not uploaded yet.

we both got tired a lot faster than usual.
so maybe tomorrow i'll edit and post some new pics.
