flickr groups

i made a few provincial groups at flickr today. so far they all have one member (me) but i haven't figured out how to invite people yet. if these banners work maybe i will post them in the SF group on LJ for the locals.
it looks like they are not updating the pics and numbers as i add more... maybe they only update once a day or something?
